About Rhapsody

In the trailer for the second season, it was revealed that Rhapsody is a DJ with a fantastic taste for beats. She participates in battles with her music-themed abilities and her AI robot, Rowdy.

Rhapsody’s primary goal is to dismantle Pythas Inc., a major tech company that put her and her mother in serious amounts of debt. Rhapsody’s mother was an AI engineer working at Pythas Inc. and was fired for discovering the company’s dark secrets. The mother-daughter duo was forced to live the seedy underground life of Neon Dunes. To survive, Rhapsody turned to music for her daily bread and butter. When performing at Neon Dunes, Rhapsody installed a virus to erase her debt to the tech company. However, instead of removing the information, Neon Dunes’ finances took a hit. To save herself from the clutches of Pythas Inc., Rhapsody now participates in Apex Battles as a bonafide “sponsor” for the tech giants. Her goal is to secure enough money to ultimately save her mother and herself from the company’s retribution.

How to unlock Rhapsody?

Basically, the game offers you two ways to unlock Rhapsody. One of the methods is by paying 750 Syndicate Gold. Let’s look at the other method in a bit more detail.

Rhapsody fragments

You can unlock the character by collecting 10 Rhapsody fragments from the free Battle Pass. Let’s look at how you can check your Battle Pass progress.

• Go to the game’s main lobby screen, and check for the Challenges tab.
• Under the Challenges tab, you can cycle through different types of Missions. These include Daily, BP, and Season Missions. Tap on the BP segment.
• You can check the Battle Pass missions now, which will yield you the Rhapsody Fragments.

Progress through to level 25 of the Battle Pass to acquire all 10 Rhapsody Fragments. After collecting the fragments, you can unlock her by spending the fragments on the Legends screen, under Rhapsody’s banner.

Google Opinion Rewards

Since collecting 10 Rhapsody Fragments can take some time, you can also spend 750 Syndicate Gold to acquire the character. • Passive: Gifted Ear – This ability allows Rhapsody to pick up noise and sounds from far away, allowing her to pinpoint enemy locations quickly.

• Tactical: Hype Anthem – The Hype Anthem ability is perfect for boosting your squadmates. You can play a music track that will recharge your entire squad’s shields and increase the movement speed. However, taking any damage will immediately end the ability’s effects.

• Ultimate: Rowdy’s Rave – Rhapsody’s Ultimate ability is perfect in situations where your squad’s in a tight spot. Rowdy will project an enormous wall of flashing light, blinding your opponents and disabling their scans. Using the distraction, your squad can turn the fight around completely.

Rhapsody Perks

Since Apex Legends Mobile also has an exclusive perks system for the characters, Rhapsody has her own set of Perks to unlock.

• Volume Control – Your squadmates can also use the Gifted Ear Tactical ability.

• Sound Bleed – You can visualise sounds and pinpoint enemy locations through walls.

• Tuned In – Running for extended periods will increase the effectiveness of the Gifted Ear ability.

• Reverb – Your Tactical ability lasts for longer if it affects a considerable number of Squadmates.

• Rowdy’s Rhythm – When using Rhapsody’s Ultimate, the squadmates’ reloading speeds increase if they’re standing near Rowdy.
