Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has now hit 50 million downloads on the play store. The game was initially launched on July 2. Since then, it has witnessed substantial growth in the past month; despite being available a few days before the official launch. Krafton revealed the milestone in a press release. They rewarded players in-game with a permanent outfit as part of the 50 Million Downloads Rewards Event. The event was announced earlier this month. Battlegrounds Mobile India is presently only available on Android. But the developer has hinted that an iOS release is on the way.

How Get Galaxy Messenger Outfit in BGMI
Just over a month after Battlegrounds Mobile India’s official release on July 2, developer Krafton announced a 50M Downloads Rewards Event in the excitement of the game hitting 50 million downloads. BGMI received 34 million downloads in its first week. It was just a matter of time until the game reached 50 million. The event had milestone rewards for reaching 48 million, 49 million, and 50 million downloads. The game has already finished its final phase. Players have received an in-game reward – Galaxy Messenger Set outfit as a permanent item as of August 14.

Wooyol Lim, Krafton’s Head of Battlegrounds Mobile Division, commented, “We extend our warm wishes to our Indian fans on the occasion of Independence Day. We are delighted to be a part of this celebration, made even sweeter with Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) hitting 50M downloads on the Play Store in just over a month! I am looking forward to an equally strong response to our first esports tournament starting next month”.

Krafton also stated that it will make announcements about the iOS game release on its social media channels very soon. Battlegrounds Mobile India is likely to launch on the App Store this month; although there is no confirmed date.
