Before diving deeper into the Bose Sports Earbuds review, let’s have a look at the specs:

The Bose Sports Earbuds feature a similar design to that of the QuietComfort earbuds. The case comes in a cylindrical shape and is slightly on the larger side. You will find a battery LED indicator on the front, a USB-C connection on the rear and a button for Bluetooth pairing inside.

The overall weight of the Bose Sports Earbuds is 61 grams which again is on the heavier side. However, carrying it is not much of a difficult task.

Talking about the earbuds, both the buds weigh 6.8 grams each and are quite light in weight. I found the buds quite comfortable in my ears. Note that I kept wearing them for almost two hours but did not find any discomfort. Furthermore, the buds are designed to fit in your ears perfectly without needing to shove them repeatedly.

Thanks to the additional pairs of eartips that Bose Sports Earbuds offers, you can choose your perfect fit accordingly. In my case, the buds did not fall, even running or walking faster. Now, that’s quite a good thing.

Both the earbuds and the case are made of hard plastic, which keeps them secure. However, the lack of a matte finish is a downside here.

The Bose Sports earbuds come with an IPX4 rating which makes them weather and sweatproof. They are comfortable and durable for your daily use as long as you don’t dunk them in water.

Now, this is one point that I did not like, given the price point. Other earbuds of the same range come with waterproof capability, which is missing here.

The Bose Sports Earbud review is incomplete without the audio experience. I used the earbuds for more than a week, and I must admit, I am really impressed with their sound quality. In fact, it is excellent for the price range. The Bose Sports Earbud is capable of handling all genres of music, including rock, jazz, and hip hop, easily.

The bass response offered by these earbuds is quite amazing for the price you are paying. Both the mid-range and high-range sound quality is great. Also, the sound does not crack and distort, thus giving an immersive listening experience.

Talking about other features like ANC, the earbuds lack them. This might be a huge disappointment for most of the users, considering the price. But the sound quality for phone calls is decent enough. You might feel a bit of background noise due to no ANC, but the overall experience is good.

The brand claims to be offering 15 hours of playback time with these earbuds, including five hours on the buds and 10 hours on the charging case. However, the reality might differ a bit here. I used the earbuds for a week, and I can confirm the battery lasted for almost three and a half hours on a single charge.

Coming to the charging time, the earbuds take one hour to get fully charged. Furthermore, the Bose Sports Earbuds come with a quick charging feature allowing two hours of playback time in just 15 minutes of charge. Also, you get two full charges for the buds in the case.

The Bose Sports Earbud comes equipped with Bluetooth version 5.0, which is fast enough to pair and connect. The connectivity is quite stable with these earbuds. Also, the earbuds can be used with both Android and iOS devices.

Simply turn on the Bluetooth on your device and take the bud out of the case. You will see the bud’s name in the available Bluetooth devices on your phone. Tap on the required name, and the buds will be connected. It’s as simple as that.

The Bose Sports Earbud has adopted touch control and is quite responsive. Double-tap the left bud if you like to skip the songs. To pause or play the music and cut or accept the call, you need to tap the right earbud twice. You can control the volume by swiping up or down the buds. Also, there is an in-ear detection feature which means the audio will stop automatically when you take the buds out of your ears.

You can also download the companion app- Bose Music app, on your phone to access more features of the earbuds. The app lets you customize your listening options and helps you modify other settings as well.
