Discovery Plus is a video streaming service for reality TV fans and also includes cooking shows, documentaries, nature programs, and true-crime series. It has a massive library of shows from all the major Discovery networks in one place. It also provides TV episodes from thousands of Discovery cable TV networks and is an exclusive home for originals and popular Discovery shows.

Discovery Plus is currently available as a standalone service globally in many countries and the service was available in India starting March 2020, about a year before its global launch. The service is home to a bunch of services such as Cycling Grand Tours, Grand Slams, Football, motorsport, and winter sports. And even the Olympics 2020 were exclusively available to stream on Discovery Plus.
How much does Discovery Plus cost?
The Discovery plus premium subscription is available for Rs. 399 for a year duration in India. The monthly subscription plan is priced at Rs. 199, and both of these plans are available for single-screen use.
In the United States, the service cost $4.99 a month to watch Discovery content with ads and a $6.99 subscription plan/month to watch ad-free. There’s a free 7-day trial for you to try Discovery+ with either plan.

What devices does Discovery Plus support?
Discovery Plus is available for all the major streaming platforms, including Amazon Fire TV and Roku, which are the top two popular streaming platforms in the United States. If you are an Android user, you can stream it on your smartphone or tablet. Apple users can also watch Discovery Plus on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV. There is also a browser version which you can watch from any PC or Mac computer.

Is Discovery Plus worth it?
The platform mainly offers unscripted TV programs, so if you are a fan of fictional TV shows. Something that Netflix and Amazon Prime Video offer, then this is not the service you should invest in.
