How Can I buy Steam deck?
According to an article published by PCMag you can only buy a Steam Deck in certain regions of the US, Europe and Canada. However, don’t go to the nearest best buy store and start looking for the device, currently, the Steam deck is only available on its official website. However, according to an article published by BBC, the delivery of the device might take some time since there is ample demand for the Steam Deck.
Valve’s president Gabe Newell has clarified that the shortages are not due to supply shock, they’re due to a demand shock. However, the brand is working towards delivering the product as soon as possible to the customers.
Steam deck release date in India?
According to an article published by IGN, the brand is in the process to introduce the device in more regions. However, their primary target is the US, UK, Europe, and Canada. According to the report, the device may come at the price of Rs. 40,000. However, this pricing is just an assumption as per the report.
In fair market competition, the device might face a mighty challenge with the Budget gaming laptops that comes under Rs. 40,000. So far, the ASUS TUF gaming series has been a very successful gaming laptop series in India, and from a price point of view, it offers more than the Steam Deck.
In the end, there is no concrete report on whether the Steam deck is going to release in India or not. However, the hype about the device especially in India is not quite what the company had expected.

Steam Deck Release In India Update
As of now, that is, April 29, 2022, Valve has still not unveiled any details about the much anticipated handheld console’s arrival in India. It is still limited to the same specific regions. It is difficult to say exactly when Valve’s plans for “regional expansion” will actually come into proper execution. Hopefully, the gaming console does not become obsolete in the country before even making it here.
