Now-a-days, a new app is in the top charts of free apps in the google play store. This app is named “Remove china apps” and is developed by a newly established firm in Jaipur, OneTouch AppLabs. As the name suggests, this app removes apps made by Chinese companies.
This app has recently crossed 5 Million downloads and has a positive rating of 4.9 stars which is an insane milestone. The app gained popularity due to many ongoing controversies between India and China. Controversies like YouTube vs TikTok, India-China border dispute and the Covid-19 Pandemic helped elevate the popularity.

According to a recent study, 67% of Indians think that China is solely responsible for the spread of novel coronavirus. This sparked hatred towards China and its products and that’s why this app is such a success. This app is currently available on Android and the company says that they will soon launch it for iOS too. To uninstall Chinese apps from your phone, you just have to download this app and Click on the “Remove China Apps” button. This app only uninstalls the apps downloaded from the play store and not the pre-installed ones.

This app was launched on Google play store on May 17th, and within 2 weeks it crossed 5 Million downloads. A similar app named “MITRON” also crossed 5M downloads recently, which is considered to be India’s answer to TikTok. These apps are our first step to boycott China and its products. You can download this app from play store and check the list of all the Chinese user-installed apps on your device. And by just one click, you can uninstall all those apps from your phone or if you want to delete individual apps you can do it by tapping on the delete button in front of those apps.
Anti-China sentiment is also seen in Australia as this app is popular in Australian play store too.
