  • Xiaomi seems to be gearing up to launch their Mi Pad 5 tablet soon. According to reports and rumours, both the tablets are expecting to launch in China next month itself. Additionally, the CC11 series of smartphones are also going to launch alongside. Meanwhile, a stylus pen design and keyboard design surfaced online last month. Now, in a recent development, the Xiaomi Smart Pen has gained the required FCC certification.

    According to the FCC listing, the Smart Pen has a model number M2107K81PC. It also reveals the schematic of the pen. However, only this information comes from the certification clearly. Earlier leak suggests that the Mi Pad 5 will feature a 10.95-inch IPS LCD display. The display panel will have a 120Hz refresh rate. On the software side of things, we can expect the Mi Pad 5 to run MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

    Apart from Xiaomi Smart Pen, leaks suggest Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. On the other hand, the Pro variant of the tablet will reportedly come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Additionally, the Mi Pad 5 series will reportedly have three variants codenamed nabu, enuma and elish.

    For photos and videos, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will feature a dual rear camera setup. The setup will include a 20-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, the upcoming tablet will pack a decent 4,260mAh battery. Although this is not enough for a tablet, we are looking forward to seeing the power and RAM management on the device upon launch. According to the FCC listing, the tablet will come with a 22.5W fast charging support and dual-band WiFi as well. Now, rumours suggest Xiaomi Smart Pen will possibly be coming with it.
