Xiaomi 12 Pro will be launching in India on April 12, 2022. The smartphone maker made an announcement on Thursday evening, just minutes before OnePlus’s new flagship phone was set to release in the country. The Xiaomi 12 Pro was previously in other markets and will compete with the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G and other phones in the country.

It will be exciting to know if Xiaomi introduces more Xiaomi 12 series phones to the country. Over 100 countries sell the current smartphone and Xiaomi 12X. There are rumours that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will release soon in China and other markets.
Xiaomi 12 Pro Specifications
We already know all of the specifications and features of the smartphone because it was released globally. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED display. The display specifications are comparable to the OnePlus 10 Pro, which also has a 2K panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers the Xiaomi phone which has a curved display powered by a. It comes with a triple camera on the back that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 707 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera.

It also has a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is present on the phone for selfies. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 12-based MIUI 13.
4,600 mAh battery powers The smartphone supports 120W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. It is exciting to see whether this will help to extend to the Indian market. The OnePlus 10 Pro has a larger 5000mAh battery but only supports 80W fast charging.
The smartphone includes stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR Blaster, and a USB Type-C port.
