WhatsApp could start testing the much-anticipated multi-device support soon. Users will be able to log in to many devices with the same WhatsApp account without having to log out of any of them, as the name suggests. Users will be able to add up to four devices to the same account at the same time using this feature.
WhatsApp’s multi-device feature has been leaked numerous times in the past, and it is currently rumored to be on the edge of being launched. This comes after Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook, and Will Cathcart, the CEO of WhatsApp, both indicated that multi-device testing for public beta users will begin in a month or two.

WhatsApp Multi-Device Support Public Beta Testing
On July 6, WABetaInfo, a renowned WhatsApp features tracker, tweets that multi-device functionality would be available soon for testing. Soon, the tracker will announce the launch along with information on how to participate in the public beta testing. The public beta program is intended to be limited in size. Users can subscribe to WABetaInfo and turn on notifications to receive real-time updates. The tracker indicates that the multi-device beta will allow users to use WhatsApp Web without using their phone’s Internet connection.

To participate in the multi-device beta program, WhatsApp users must be on the latest beta version of WhatsApp; both for Android and for iOS, according to the features tracker. The first version of the public beta is scheduled to be released soon. After that, the company will likely test it for a while before making it available to all users publicly.

However, the company claims to have resolved all difficulties and is preparing to launch the first public beta version.
