According to a recent report, the Vivo Y72 5G will be launched in India soon. It claims that the phone would launch in India on July 15, citing a Vivo official among other sources. A tipster also released a poster of the smartphone, which shows renders of the device, color options, major specifications, and launch offers with partner bands when it launches on sale in the country. In Thailand, the Vivo Y72 5G was launched in March of this year.

Vivo Y72 5G Launch Date Revealed
According to 91Mobiles, the Vivo Y72 5G will be available in India on July 15. The rumor also includes a poster, which was sent exclusively with the publication by tipster Yogesh and showcases the phone in two color options: Dream Glow and Graphite Black.
According to the official-looking poster, the phone would be available in India with a cashback offer of Rs. 1,500 on HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank transactions. It could possibly come with a one-time screen replacement from Vivo as well as Jio benefits worth Rs. 10,000. According to the source, the Vivo Y72 5G is likely to come at a price under Rs. 20,000 in India, citing the tipster.

Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y72 5G is likely to have 8GB of RAM and a 4GB extended RAM feature, as per the poster. Again the poster shows that the device will also have a full-HD+ display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate. The Vivo Y72 5G was launched in Thailand in March, and according to the specifications, the phone would have a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) LCD IPS display.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with 128GB of internal storage may power the Indian variant. It’s likely that it’ll be running on Funtouch OS 11.1, which is based on Android 11.
