After launching two of its foldable smartphones, the Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Fold Plus, Vivo, is now all set to launch Vivo X Flip. The phone is expected to have a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold lineup. According to tipster DigitalChatStation, the smartphone is to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC. As of now, only the chipset details and moniker are revealed by the tipster.
The smartphone is likely to first debut in China. The specifications of the device are not yet out. However, the device is expected to have similar specifications as Vivo X Fold Plus.

Vivo X Flip Specifications
This smartphone might be the first phone from the brand that can be vertically folded. Additionally, the tipster also revealed that the phone might be equipped with the SM8475 chipset. Or, in simple terms, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. The chipset is based on a 4nm manufacturing process.

However, the device is not equipped with the latest flagship chipset – the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2, which comes with new core architecture and is based on TSMC’s new 4nm manufacturing process.
This smartphone from Vivo can be a tough competition to the Samsung Galaxy Z flip lineup, Huawei’s P50 Pocket, Motorola Razr, and other flippable phones. Thus it is expected that the Vivo’s new foldable smartphone will be released soon with new innovations and features.
