Vivo is gearing up to refresh its V-series of smartphones. Earlier this year, the company launched the V21 series and V23 series in India and other markets. However, one variant from the latter – Vivo V23e did not have a 5G connectivity. But it looks like the company is planning to bring the 5G variant of the V23e device into the market. It has also already confirmed the launch of the Vivo V23e 5G in Thailand. Earlier, its’ 4G variant launched in Vietnam. Let’s take a look at the launch, specifications and other details.
According to a report by 91mobiles, Vivo will include the V23e variant in their Indian lineup. The handset originally debuted in Thailand back in November as a budget 5G offering from the brand. Vivo is expected to make an official confirmation about the Vivo V23e and tease its features.

Vivo V23e 5G Price in India, Launch Timeline
According to leaks, the phone will be costing between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000. The smartphone may launch in the country as early as February — just a month after the arrival of the Vivo V23 5G and Vivo V23 Pro 5G that will debut on January 5, 2021.
To recall, Vivo V23e 5G launched in Thailand at a price of THB 12,999 (roughly Rs. 29,000) for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone debuted in Moonlight Shadow and Sunshine Coast colours.

Specifications
Coming to the specifications, the Vivo V23e 5G runs on FunTouch OS 12. It comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display. The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. Apart from the 128GB Internal storage option, the phone is further expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The predecessor model is powered by the Dimensity 700 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. But we can expect the phone to come with a Dimensity 810 SoC. The phone could also support 44W fast charging at least. We will keep you updated as more leaks and news comes in.
