The upcoming Note 12 Turbo has been spotted on China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certification database, ahead of its rumours launch. The smartphone will be the company’s sixth smartphone in the Note 12 lineup, for those who are unaware.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G, Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus are already available in the company’s portfolio. Let’s take a closer look at the Redmi Note 12 Turbo MIIT certification and what we know so far about the device.
The model number 23049RAD8C was there in the MIIT certification database for the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. According to the listing, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will support Dual-SIM Dual-standby connectivity and 5G connectivity. Aside from that, the listing contains no details about the forthcoming Note 12 series phone. However, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo’s specifications have already been a leak on the internet.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo Expected Specs
The upcoming smartphone will have a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. Moreover, the smartphone will power a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor. Qualcomm has yet to formally announce the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will reportedly have up to 512GB of storage and 12GB of memory. The handset may likely have a triple-rear camera setup, similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro. This means that the Note 12 Turbo may include a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Furthermore, the upcoming Note 12 series smartphone could have a 5,500mAh battery and support for 67W fast charging.
