While all eyes are currently set on Samsung’s Galaxy S22 launch event which is less than a week from now, WinFuture has come across several official renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. The device is expected to be one of the key volume sellers of Samsung’s 2022 lineup and will have some big shoes to fill in place of the Galaxy A52 series. Samsung Galaxy A53: Specifications (Leaked)
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is said to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The phone houses a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and two 5-megapixel sensors. It could have a 32-megapixel snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone may ship with Samsung Pay, IP67 rating for water resistance, and Dolby Atmos.

It has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and narrow bezels. The volume rocker and power button are on the right spine, while the left edge is sitting flat. The back is where the quad-camera sensors are present with an LED flash. However, it could have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The USB Type-C port and speaker grills could be at the bottom, though the images don’t really show that. It comes in Black and White colour options.
The phone is said to be powered by the Exynos 1200 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that could be expandable. It is likely to boot Android 11 OS with OneUI 4.0 custom skin out of the box. Moreover, it comes with 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging powers the phone. Connectivity features include 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
