Xiaomi is gearing up to finally launch their Redmi Note 11 series smartphones in China. The launch event has been scheduled for October 28, 2021, and the Redmi Watch 2 will launch alongside as well.
Noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to reveal that the Redmi Watch 2 specs and pricing has been revealed. The smartwatch has been listed on JD.com ahead of its official launch this week. This reveals the colour variants and pricing of the upcoming fitness tracker. Here is a quick rundown of all the details.

Redmi Watch 2 Price, Colour Options and Availability
The Redmi Watch 2 price in China has been set at 399 Yuan, going by the JD.com listing. Now, this converts to roughly Rs. 4,694 in the Indian currency. The smartwatch will come in the Elegant Black, Space Blue, and Ivory colour options.

When it comes to the availability of the smartwatch, for now it seems to be limited to the Chinese market. However, we can expect to launch in India soon as well. When it does, it may be priced similar in the Indian market as well. These are mere assumptions for now and are to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Redmi Watch 2 Specifications
A couple of Redmi Watch 2 specs have already been confirmed by the company. For starters, the smartwatch will be featuring an AMOLED display. To be specific, it will be a big 1.6-inch AMOLED display alongside a significantly bigger screen-to-body ratio.
To recall, the 2020 launched Redmi Watch comes with a smaller 1.4-inch display. Moreover, the vanilla watch sports an LCD panel and now, we are getting an AMOLED one.

The smartwatch will mostly come with fitness-centric features like its predecessor. So, we can expect to see multiple sports modes and the like. We will also see a customised RTOS on the smartwatch, which is common in smartwatches at this point.
In addition, the Redmi Watch 2 can also be expected to come with heart-rate monitoring, GPS, SpO2 sensor and more. We can also expect to see a certain degree of water resistance along with sleep tracking features as well.
