Xiaomi recently introduced the 5G-variants of the Note 9 series. The latest offerings include the Redmi Note9 and the Redmi Note9Pro. In addition, another device, Redmi Note 9T 5G from this series is now listing on a benchmark website. This alleged Geekbench listing tips some important information about the upcoming phone.

The phone is listing to power on an ARM MT6853T processor, which associates with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. Moreover, it can launch in global markets as a rebranded variant of the Note9-5G launched in China last month. In addition, the Redmi Note 9T 5G model on Geekbench lists with model number M2007J22G.

Moreover, it was recently with the same model number on Thailand’s NBTC certification site and also on Malaysia’s (SRIM) certification site. Redmi Note 9T 5G managed to score 598 in single-core and 1760 in multi-core tests.

The benchmarking platform shows that the upcoming from the Chinese brand will power on Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC, pack 4GB of RAM, and run Android 10 out of the box. Interestingly, the Note9 5G is only available in 6GB and 8GB RAM options in China. So we can expect some changes in terms of configurations with the Redmi Note 9T5G.
The China Redmi Note 9 5G model comes in 6GB and 8GB RAM options. A 4GB option of the phone was not introduced in China. However, it remains to be seen whether the global model will be more competitively priced.
Moreover, the Redmi Note 9T5G listed on Geekbench can also just be a test version. Xiaomi might launch the phone with updated software.
