Xiaomi is teasing the Redmi Note 8 2021 officially by revealing key specs of the device. However, as far as we know, it is for certain markets. This device’s specifications have surfaced online via an FCC listing. Moreover, the same device received approval from the Bluetooth SIG authority. Both these listing reveals that it is a new device. In addition, both these certifications sport the model number M1908C3JGG. To recall, Redmi Note 8 launched about two years ago. Leaks suggest the new model will offer a new processor, among other upgrades.

Redmi Note 8 2021 Leaks
Meanwhile, the company has teased the Redmi Note 8 2021 by revealing its key specs and details on Twitter. Ahead of its global launch, Xiaomi is continuously teasing the device with key highlights. The teasers show that it will have a waterdrop-style notch with thin bezels on three sides and a chin at the bottom. The phone will come in two gradient hues at the very least, in white and blue shades. Additionally, there is a rear fingerprint sensor onboard, as the teaser shows. The phone will feature a quad-camera setup roughly positioned in the same manner as the 2019 Redmi Note 8.

Furthermore, there are four cameras placed – one below the other in a stretched-out capsule-shaped camera module wherein the flash sits alongside. It also claims that the Redmi Note 8 (2021) will have a 48-MPmain camera in the quad-camera setup. The phone is also teasing to have a 6.3-inch display. Recently, a teaser confirms the device to feature a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core SoC. With this in mind, we can see how different it is going to be from its original sibling.

Redmi Note 8 (2021) is expected to arrive in markets like the EU, Russia, and few other regions. Now that the smartphone has received important certifications, it appears that it may go, official, later this month or in early June.
