- The upcoming series will consist of three smartphones, namely the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70E.
- The Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro & Redmi K70E is observed with the identifier 2311DRK48C, 23113RKC6C & 23117RK66C respectively. These identification numbers have been linked to the respective devices in the series.
- The model numbers containing “2311” suggest a potential launch in November 2023 for the products. However, the devices have not undergone the certification stages. Therefore, it is more likely that the Redmi K series will be released in December.
- According to the information discovered by Xiaomi UI, there is a chance of a delay in the introduction, which could lead to the devices being launched in January 2024 instead.
POCO F6 Series
- The upcoming POCO F6 series will comprise two models, namely the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro.
- As per the report, the POCO F6 is observed with the model numbers 2311DRK48G (global) and 2311DRK48I (India). Similarly, the POCO F6 Pro is listed with two distinct model numbers – 23113RKC6G (global) and 23113RKC6I (India).
- The model numbers indicate that the POCO F6 series will have a wide availability across multiple countries, including India. The rumours suggest that the new POCO F series will be launching in the early months of the coming year.
- According to the report, there are indications that the Redmi K70 series will undergo a rebranding for the global and Indian markets to introduce the POCO F6 series. Specifically, the Redmi K70 is expecting to be renamed as POCO F6. Whereas, the Redmi K70 Pro will still likely be known as POCO F6 Pro.
Additional Details of Upcoming Launch
According to the report, the Redmi K70 will equip with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. On the other hand, the Redmi K70 Pro anticipates to feature a more advanced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
In terms of design, all devices in this series will feature a back cover crafted from either glass or textured leather, rather than plastic. This change in design aims to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal and provide a premium feel to the phones. However, the frames of these devices are made up of plastic.
