Xiaomi’s newest Redmi model, the Redmi 10 Prime, was launched in India on Friday. The new Redmi phone is a major upgrade over last year’s Redmi 9 Prime, which was released in August. The Redmi 10 Prime features a hole-punch display, an improved triple back camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, as well as a 90Hz display and twin stereo speakers to offer an improved experience over the previous year’s model.

Redmi 10 Prime Price in India
The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage edition of the Redmi 10 Prime costs Rs. 12,499 in India. The phone also comes with a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant that costs Rs. 14,499. The Astral White, Bifrost White, and Phantom Black Redmi 10 Prime will be available starting September 7 through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Mi Studios, and major retail locations around the country. Customers who purchase the smartphone with an HDFC Bank card or EMI transactions will receive an instant discount of up to Rs. 750.

Specifications and Features
The dual-SIM Redmi 10 Prime offers a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top. The screen also has a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate that switches between 45Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz refresh rates based on the content frame. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, which is paired with an ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There is also support for up to 2GB of RAM extension, which effectively uses the built-in storage to improve multitasking. The Redmi 10 Prime comes with up to 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.

The Redmi 10 Prime has a triple rear camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter with an f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter for photographs and videos. The rear camera system allows full-HD (1080p) video recording as well as HD (720p) slow-motion video recording at a frame rate of 120fps.
The phone has a front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.0 lens. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, IR blaster, FM, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity options. An accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors onboard. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the side.

The Redmi 10 Prime has a 6,000mAh battery; which supports 10W fast charging and up to 9W reverse charging with the included 22.5W charger. Furthermore, the phone is 161.95×75.57×9.56mm in dimension and 192 grams in weight.
