Realme is already teasing Realme 9i‘s launch in India. It may be Realme’s third phone so far this year, but for India, Realme’s first phone will be the Realme 9i, even though a launch date is not clear yet. For many reasons, this is an important phone for the brand, but whether it is an important phone for customers is something the phone’s specifications and, more importantly, the price will decide. Meanwhile, the phone just made its official debut in Vietnam. Madhav Sheth, Vice President of Realme and President of Realme International Business Group, has also teased the smartphone along with Realme Book. The phone has also obtained Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, as per a tipster. The phone may soon launch globally and in India.
Realme 9i: Specifications
As per its Vietnam launch, Realme 9i features a 6.59-inch full-HD+ (2,400×1,080 pixels) LCD flat display with thin bezels on three sides and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. It also powers on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

For photography, the Realme 9i sports a triple camera setup that could be highlighted by a 50-megapixel primary camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel shooter. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support over USB Type-C. The phone measures 164×75.7×8.4mm and weighs around 190g.
Pricing, Availability
The Realme 9i price is VND 6,290,000 in Vietnam. This is approximately Rs 20,500 in currency conversion, but as per the market, the Indian price will be lower than this. The phone comes in Green Quartz and Black Quartz colours.
