The POCO X5 Pro will go on sale in India for the first time today. Last week, the smartphone made its debut in the country as the brand’s mid-range offering. The POCO X5 Pro is considered a rebranded Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition with a punch-hole cutout in the centre for the selfie snapper, triple cameras on the back arranged in a rectangular island, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a boxy design. The phone will be available in POCO Yellow, Astral Black, and Horizon Blue.
The POCO X5 Pro features an FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a Snapdragon 778G SoC, the Android 12-based MIUI 14 custom skin, and a large 108-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor.
The POCO X5 Pro costs Rs 22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model in India. Customers in India can purchase the phone at noon IST on Flipkart.
Customers who purchase the phone with an ICICI Debit or Credit card or via EMI receive a Rs 2,000 discount.

POCO X5 Pro specifications
The POCO X5 Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD+ Xfinity AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 900nits peak brightness. Moreover, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC with an Adreno GPU for graphics. The phone has 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of expandable internal storage.
Furthermore, on the back, there are three cameras: a 108-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel shooter. On the front is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats.
Out of the box, the device runs Android 12 with a custom skin based on MIUI 14. A 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support is included, as well as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, dual-stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and Hi-Res audio. 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C charging port are among the connectivity features. The phone is 162.91 x 76.03 x 7.9mm and weighs 181 grammes.
