Red Magic has been a very popular camera brand for a long time now but they also developed phones in the past. They have launched two new phones namely Red Magic 7 on February 17, 2022, in China. They do not have a history of head-turners when it comes to mobile phones but they are looking to change that trend with the newly launched Red Magic 7 and Red Magic 7 Pro.
Red Magic 7 Specifications
The base variant of the two phones launched in China. Nubia, the parent company, has released the phone as a gaming device. The phone has flagship specs and gaming hardware. The processor is the biggest highlight of this phone, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is the highest-end processor available right now.

It has a 6.8-inches OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. It has a 165Hz refresh rate, which is higher than what some of the highest-end flagships offer. The phone will run on Android 12 out of the box. It will also have a 4500mAh battery with 120W charging support. the phone comes with 512GB of storage with either 8GB or 12GB RAM.
The rear camera setup houses three lenses with the primary shooter being a 64-megapixel one. The ultra-wide lens is an 8-megapixel one with another 2-megapixel macro sensor with it.
Red Magic 7 Pro Specifications
The 7 Pro houses the kind of specifications when it comes to the processor, display, and imaging hardware. The phone, however, will have a special chip designed to enhance the gaming experience. It is named Red Core 1 chipset. 7 Pro will also have shoulder triggers.
It has an under-the-display 16-megapixel selfie camera. It has up to 1TB storage and up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM. With virtual RAM enhancement, it can also go up to 24GB. Red Magic 7 Pro has a 5000mAh battery and offers 135W charging support.

Special Gaming Gardware Features
The phones will have an RGB fan that spins at 20,000 RPM to cool down the device during heavy usage.
It will use a feature named ICE 8.0 cooling system. It has 9 heat dissipation materials, including a large VC liquid cooling plate.
The 7 Pro has a Red Core 1 chipset which will enhance the overall experience of gaming, including the audio as well. The display of the 7 Pro has a 100 per cent DCI P3 colour gamut, 10-bit colour, and DC dimming.

Pricing
The base variant starts from 3,899 Yuan ($615) and the costliest one is 5,499 Yuan ($867), which is the transparent edition of the base variant. The 256GB Dark Knight or Cyber Neon version costs 4,799 Yuan ($757).
The Pro variant starts from 4,799 Yuan ($757) in Dark Knight colour. The highest-priced Dark Knight variant is the 16GB+256GB one which costs 5,599 Yuan ($883). The transparent edition starts from 5,299 Yuan ($836) and goes up to 7,499 Yuan ($1,183) which is for the 18GB+1TB.
