Motorola Edge 20 will be launched in India on August 17, according to a social media post from the company. Last month, the phone was launched in a number of markets along with the Motorola Edge 20 Lite and Motorola Edge 20 Pro. The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, a fourth model in the lineup, is likely to arrive with the Motorola Edge 20 in India. The phone will have a whopping 576Hz refresh rate in game mode, according to teasers released in the last few days.

The launch will take place on August 17 at 12 p.m. IST. In the game mode, teasers say the phone will be 6.9mm thin and boast a 576Hz refresh rate.

In Europe, the Motorola Edge 20 is available for EUR 499.99 (approximately Rs. 43,600) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Its price in India will most likely be comparable to that of the European model.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Motorola Edge 20 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and runs on Android 11 with My UX on top. The smartphone comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and 8GB of RAM. It has a 108-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and an 8-megapixel sensor with a telephoto lens enabling 3x high-resolution optical zoom and 30X digital zoom, respectively. The Motorola Edge 20 sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front with an f/2.24 lens for selfies and video chats.

Onboard storage options for the Motorola Edge 20 include 128GB and 256GB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity options. The phone sports an IP52-certified build and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Motorola Edge 20 comes with a 4,000mAh battery and 30W TurboPower charging.
