Xiaomi launched their Mi 11 Lite 4G in India back in June of this year. The smartphone was launched as the slimmest and lightest smartphone of 2021. Additionally, the smartphone also boasts a 90Hz AMOLED display. Furthermore, the device carries the powerful Snapdragon 732G SoC as well. It also comes with a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup for all the camera enthusiasts out there.
However, the company did not launch the 5G variant of the Mi 11 Lite upon launch. The company did state that the 5G variant will roll out in the country as soon as 5G services land. The company has now silently discontinued the 4G variant of the smartphone in the country. This has been done in order to introduce the Mi 11 Lite 5G variant in India.

Now, noted tipster Abhishek Yadav has taken to Twitter to reveal that the smartphone has been discontinued in the country. Moreover, he says that the reason as the company’s plans on launching the 5G variant here in India soon. However, the company has not confirmed this as of now so it is to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Mi 11 Lite 5G Specifications
Although the Mi 11 Lite 5G India launch details are currently under wraps, we know of it specifications from the model’s launch in other markets. The smartphone comes with a big 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Additionally, the display comes with a fast 90Hz refresh rate.

On the processor front, the Mi 11 Lite 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. When it comes to the software, the smartphone runs on Android 11 with the MIUI 12 custom skin on top.
For photos and videos, the Mi 11 Lite 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there is also a third 5-meagapixel tele-macro sensor in the setup. On the battery front, the device packs a 4,250mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support. Additional features of the smartphone include a stylish in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G connectivity and a USB Type-C port for charging and more.
