iQOO has had a great year with several amazing launches in India. The company recently announced the iQOO Z3 5G smartphone in the country which became an immediate hit. Moreover, the brand has also launched the iQOO 7 series of smartphones in the country. The series consists of two smartphones, namely, the iQOO 7 and iQOO Legend. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch their iQOO 8 series of smartphones in China.
Moreover, the iQOO 8 series of smartphones will launch as successors to the iQOO 7 series. The iQOO 7 series has three smartphones under it, the iQOO 7 5G, iQOO 7 Pro 5G and iQOO 7 Legend 5G. The smartphone has been confirmed to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. Besides, a couple of other details have been revealed as well.

iQOO 8 August 4 Launch: What Else?
The iQOO 8 series of smartphone are all set to launch in China very soon. Moreover, the series will be the first to come with smartphones that will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. According to a report by My Drivers, the series will launch in China on August 4. A senior executive of the company has revealed this piece of information.

The Snapdragon 888 Plus is the latest chipset that has been recently announced by Qualcomm. It is great to see the Plus variant being used in the latest iQOO 8 series of devices. The latest Plus variant of the chipset gets two major improvements over its vanilla variant. The Plus variant’s chipset is boosted to 2.995GHz. On the vanilla variant, this is limited to 2.84GHz. Additionally, the Plus variant gets 20 percent improved AI performance when compared to the vanilla variant of the chipset.
Furthermore, the iQOO 8 launch in India could be expected to be sometime later this year. However, nothing has been revealed on that front as of now. We will hopefully hear more about the smartphone in the coming days.
