The Honor Watch GS 3 was announced during the company’s major event on Thursday, August 12. The new smartwatch is the first in the series to include an eight-channel photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor, which the company claims will provide more accurate heart rate monitoring.

Honor Watch GS 3 Price
The price of the Honor Watch GS 3 is yet to be revealed. However, Honor said during the event that the smartwatch will be available in three different colours and styles; a silver case with a blue-coloured leather wrist strap, a golden case with a brown leather strap, and a grey case with a black rubber strap. During the announcement, there was no information about the GS 3’s availability.

Specifications and Features
The Honor Watch GS 3 is the successor to the Honor Watch GS Pro, which was launched earlier last year. The circular design from the previous generation has been passed over to the new smartwatch. The new watch, however, features an eight-channel PPG sensor with (AI)-backed algorithms for more accurate heart rate monitoring.

A frequency tracking algorithm is one of the major algorithms used by the PPG sensor. This is to detect heart rate when a user is doing high-intensity exercise. The smartwatch is designed to use software and hardware collaboration for enhanced heart rate tracking. The Honor GS 3 also features a touchscreen and two basic buttons. The smartwatch’s detailed specifications are yet to be released.
