Google seems to be planning on launching the Pixel 5a 5G soon. The Google Pixel 5a 5G was rumored to have been cancelled previously. However, the company denied these rumors back in April of this year. The company also hinted towards the launch of the device being at the same time as the Pixel 4a. The Google Pixel 4a was launched in August of last year. It is very likely to witness the launch of the Pixel 5a 5G around sometime in August as well.
Moreover, the upcoming Google Pixel smartphone has now been spotted the FCC certification website. Noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to share this piece of information. This definitely does hint at the launch of the device being right around the corner. Besides, from the looks of it, August might be it for the Google Pixel 5a 5G.
US-based regulatory body, FCC, licensed two separate IDs for the Google Pixel 5a. While one seems to be for the North American markets, the other, a Global version. The global one might not come with CDMA support. Whereas, the North American variant will most likely come with CDMA support.

Google Pixel 5a 5G: What To Expect?
Going by previous leaks, reports and rumors, the Google Pixel 5a 5G will most likely come with a similar design to the Pixel 4a 5G. Additionally, on the processor front, the smartphone will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC.

Moreover, the SoC that comes will bring 5G connectivity to the smartphones unlike the Pixel 4a generation of devices. For photos and videos, we can expect to see an ultra-wide-angle sensor alongside the primary sensor. However, it will most likely be priced higher than the Pixel 4a, which is understandable.
