Google Accidentally Confirms Pixel Buds A In A Tweet

Google launched Pixel Buds last year, which were a huge success. That too from all sides including, customers and reviewers. Those were the company’s first TWS earphones.

This year, the company was about to launch a successor, but news came out. Recently, an accidental tweet from Google announced the Pixel Bud A-Series on Twitter via the Android handle.

However, it was deleted within 10 minutes after coming live. The Twitter post is the result of accidental scheduling as per a 9to5Google report.

The tweet read, “Quality sound and quick Bluetooth pairing. The new Pixel Buds A-Series has arrived. Enjoy one-tap Bluetooth pairing with the updated Fast Pair experience on Android.”

It also teased the Pixel Buds A-series will work with Fast Pair available on devices operating on Android 6 and above. The pair shown is white, with the circular touch-sensitive dome above a light grey underside and stabilizer arc.

That second colour is also used inside of the pebble-shaped charging case, replacing the black colour used on the 2nd-generation headphones. And now the company has accidentally revealed an image of “Pixel Buds A” in a dark green colour variant.

Whereas this accidental tweet did not give much information, just a subtle change in the colour scheme, the tweet said that the Pixel Buds A-Series is coming with Quality sound. That can be a result of the Fast Pair feature on Android. The 9to5Google report says: that ‘A’ can be a hint of something affordable like the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 4a.

Initially, Pixel Buds A were going to launch in April, but now they are expected to come out with the Google Pixel 5a during Google IO 2021, which might appear around May 18-20, with a mid-2021 release date.
