The boAt has already teased the launch of a new affordable smartwatch in India last week. After being teased on Amazon, the Boat Wave Lite smartwatch has finally launched in India. The price, sale details, and complete specifications have all surfaced officially. It is the company’s latest smartwatch aimed at budget users. In terms of pricing, the boAt wave Lite smartwatch will be available for a price of Rs. 1,999 and will be sold via Amazon. It will be on sale from March 31, 2022, at 12 PM IST and comes in Black, Blue, and Red colour options.

Features and Specifications
It features a 1.69-inch screen with a square design and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Furthermore, the watch will come with a 160-degree viewing angle and 70 per cent RGB colour gamut. The watch is also fairly light weighing in at just 44.8 grams. It comes with a rotating crown button on the side to access the menu and navigate across the user interface of the watch. You can choose from over 100 watch faces. You can do so by using the Boat wearable app.

As far as sensors are concerned, the Boat Wave Lite offers a 24×7 heart rate sensor, a SpO2 sensor that is capable of monitoring blood oxygen, sleep tacking, and more.
It also comes with an array of modes for tracking your outdoor and indoor activities like running, walking, cycling, yoga, football, climbing, and swimming. Furthermore, the boAt Wave Lite watch will come with support for ten sports modes including running, walking, cycling, yoga, football, badminton, basketball, skipping, climbing and swimming. In addition to this, the boAt Wave Lite will also support Google Fit and Apple Health integration, which is a handy feature to have in the budget segment.

Furthermore, in terms of battery life, the watch is rated to last up to 7 days on a single charge. boAt wave lite also has other features like notifications from the phone for calls, texts, social media apps, sedentary reminders, and IP67 dust and water-resistant rating. There is also support for camera and music control.
