Asus is gearing up for the launch of its ZenFone 8 series on May 12. Ahead of the official launch, Asus already revealed some details of the new series. Also, a bunch of leaks gives more ideas about the phones. Now, Asus ZenFone 8 mini, one of the handsets in the new series, surfaced on BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards). Moreover, the listing hints at the imminent launch of the phone.

ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini Surfaced on BIS
According to older rumors, the mini variant will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage for the base model. The phone will also be available in an 8GB+128GB model. In addition, the company would also offer more variants with 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM and 256GB of built-in storage.

Furthermore, Asus ZenFone 8 Mini will feature a 4,000mAh battery. It will also support 30W fast charging support. The phone is said to feature an OLED 5.92-inch display. It can also pack a 64-MP primary sensor (Sony IMX686) and a new Sony IMX663 sensor. Other leaks also suggests the phone would run on Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 888 processor.

Now, this recent leak point from @_the_tech_guy has posted an image that he claims is the BIS certification of the Asus ZenFone 8 Mini. It mentions the ASUS_I006D model number, which, according to previous reports, belongs to the ZenFone 8Mini. If it is true, the ZenFone 8 Mini could make it to the Indian market. That being said, not necessarily every device that gets BIS certifications makes its way to India.
