Asus seems to be gearing up to launch the successor of their Asus ROG Phone 5 soon. The Asus ROG Phone 5S has now surfaced online which reveals certain key details about the upcoming smartphone. Noted tipster Mukul Sharma has recently spotted the smartphone on a retailer website listing. Moreover, this listing reveals the key specifications of the upcoming flagship device by Asus.
However, although the key specs of the device have been revealed, the design is currently under wraps. The smartphone will come with the Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and other flagship hardware. The smartphone will quite indeed launch as a successor to the ROG Phone 5 which was launched last year in June. Hopefully, more details about the smartphone, including its design and other specifications will surface online in the coming days.

ASUS ROG Phone 5S Specifications (Retailer Website Listing)
Going by the latest leak, the Asus ROG Phone 5S will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. Additionally, the octa-core flagship chipset by Qualcomm will pair up with the Adreno 660 GPU. Moreover, the listing reveals that the smartphone will be available in two variants. These are a 16GB RAM/256GB internal storage and 18GB RAM/512GB internal storage model.
On the battery front, the smartphone will pack a massive 6,000mAh battery along with 65W fast charging support. Moreover, it will come with a 144Hz OLED panel and the listing further reveals that the smartphone will launch as a “2021 5G Gaming Phone.”

ASUS ROG Phone 5 Specifications
When recalling the Asus ROG Phone 5 specifications, the smartphone features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Additionally, the display comes with a resolution of 2,448 x 1,080 pixels along with a fast 144Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the display also comes with a 300Hz touch sampling rate alongside HDR10+ support, a 20.4:9 aspect ratio and Pixelworks i6 display processor. We can also see a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Additionally, the flagship octa-core chipset pairs up with the Adreno 660 GPU. The smartphone comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. When it comes to software, the smartphone runs on Android 11 with the ROG UI custom skin on top. and has a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.

For photos and videos, the Asus ROG Phone 5 features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor along with a 13MP 125-degree wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there is a 5MP macro sensor in the setup as well. At the front, the flagship device boasts a 24MP selfie shooter. The handset also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The device comes with all the essential connectivity options which include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS and a USB Type-C port for charging.
