Using WhatsApp popular messaging app, MyGov is now offering additional Digilocker services. A Digilocker account is created and authenticated, and one may retrieve papers, including a PAN card, driver’s licence, and vehicle registration certificate.
The government’s goal is to make government services more accessible, inclusive, transparent, and easy by launching the MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp. Digital India has focused on government efforts to enhance “Ease of Living” for residents. As mentioned in an official press release, the MyGov Helpdesk on the app is a significant step in that direction.

Whatsapp users may now acquire papers such as PAN cards, Driving Licenses and Class X Passing certificates through the MyGov Helpdesk. This includes documents such as Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance Policy for Two Wheeler, Class X and XII Marksheets, and Insurance Policy Document (Life and Non-Life accessible on Digilocker).
How to use WhatsApp to get your PAN card?
Message ‘Namaste, Hi, or Digilocker’ to WhatsApp number +91 9013151515, and you’ll get all the necessary information.
First, save the phone number +91 9013151515 in your address book
Now, start WhatsApp.
Thirdly, send a message to the number +91 9013151515 with Namaste or Hi.
Then, they will send a list of services provided by Digilocker Helpdesk to you.
At last, Enter the service number you’d want to use.

After completing the steps, the Digilocker Helpdesk will send the document to a contact. However, Digilocker software, accessible on both the Google Play Store and Apple App store, may be used to access the services.
The official press release said that the MyGov chatbot on the app has added new features like Digilocker to develop a “complete administrative assistance system” for residents.
