Airtel Internet Services Are Down in India Now!

If you are someone who is suddenly noticing that neither your Airtel mobile or broadband internet services are working, you are not the only one. Yes, Airtel India is now facing a major blackout issue. Airtel internet services are down across multiple regions in the country.

These issues include a No Signal, complete blackout of services and mobile internet and broadband. This issue with the Airtel internet services is being widely reported from a couple of cities. These include Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.

Besides, Downdetector.com has received 3,700 reports of the Airtel internet services being down. So, yes, although it is not that widely reported, it is still a lot in thousands. Seems like a part of the Airtel spectrum has been facing issues.

Airtel Internet Services Blackout: The Reason?

Going by the report of Downdetector, we can see that sometime during 11:30AM, over 7,358 cases were reported. What initially started as 3,700 reports did double up in a couple minutes.

Moreover, as per Downdetector reports, only Airtel has faced a blackout this major recently. Multiple Jio users did report outages sometime on Friday but, it was nearly not as major as the Airtel blackout.

We do not know what caused a blackout of this magnitude. However, fortunately, it seems to be stabilising now and users are finally getting back access to their Airtel internet services. Further, Airtel did acknowledge the issue by saying that, “Our internet services had a brief disruption and we deeply regret the inconvenience this may have caused you. Everything is back as normal now, as our teams keep working to deliver a seamless experience to our customers.”
