The device doesn’t seem to be an updated one as it still carries an old-school notch design and a two-year-old chipset, although a flagship one.

While brands are suffering due to near-zero sales amidst the coronavirus outbreak, many are still introducing new models in the market with the aim to increase the company’s own crowd of devices in the market. LG too entered the arena and launched the LG Style 3 in Japan as it gets listed by Japanese network operator NTT Docomo, with not much details made public yet.

LG Style 3 Specifications

The LG Style 3 is not that updated when we look at its spec-sheet, although it retains the same look as that of previously launched LG flagships. It still gets the old-school and conventional show notch design at the front along with a dated dual-camera setup at the back. Coming to the specifications, we get the same gorgeous 6.1-inch QHD+ (1,440×3,120 pixels) OLED panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is comparatively small for 2020, but the quality is the same that you can expect with LG.

The powertrain does consist of a processor from the Snapdragon 800 series, but a dated one. Under the hood is a two-generation old Snapdragon 845 chipset, which is unfortunately accompanied by just 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. And surprisingly, this is the only variant, although we get an expanding option via microSD card up to 512GB.

Camera department doesn’t seem to get anything special by looking just at numbers. There’s a dual camera setup placed horizontally at the back with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with aperture F / 1.8 and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with aperture F / 2.2. The notch at the front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera with aperture F / 1.9 for selfie and video calling.

The battery too isn’t that massive with just 3500mAh capacity and there’s no mention of any fast charging technology. The device does get waterproofing and comes with IP68 and IPX5 ratings. The device also gets NFC, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack along with a physical fingerprint reader at the back.

Considering the pricing, we assume the device to be a mid-ranger and to be priced between $250-$350.
