The Huawei P40 Pro is about to release one of the top-specced phones of this year. Although the phone has not been announced yet, its rumoured to contain Huawei’s in-house, top-of-the-line Kirin 990 processor and 12GB RAM. It’ll also have five cameras, which includes dual selfie cameras at the front of the phone.

Despite unconfirmed information, we’ve only caught a glimpse of what the phone would look like in the real world. However, one digital artist has filled the gaps and created a render of the Huawei P40 Pro based on all the rumours and leaks surrounding the phone.
Video Render
As we see in the video, the foremost prominent thing about the P40 Pro is the camera. It has already been rumoured to sport five different lenses and a number of other separate sensors.
The “P” in Huawei’s models has been rumoured to represent “photography”. Therefore the prominence of top-of-the-line cameras is mandatory for its flagship range. We see here the rumoured ultra-wide angle lens, time-of-flight sensor, and a depth-focus sensor which accurately measures distance from the phone to its subject.
The screen is curved on all sides including corners. The fingerprint sensor is under the screen, and there’s a twin punch-hole selfie camera.

Real-life pictures of the phone with a plastic screen confirm the presence of those cameras, but a black bar can be seen on the “forehead” of the prototype’s screen instead of its large display shown in the video.
The back of the phone is unfortunately not visible, so we cannot see the colour of the phone. However, the video displays five metallic shades: black, silver, gold, grey and teal.
We’re excited to ascertain how the phone stacks up against its competitor, the Samsung Galaxy S20.
