Cupertino giant Apple indefinitely postponed its March 31st event in which the company was expected to reveal the iPhone 9 aka iPhone SE 2 along with new iPads and MacBook. As per a recent tip, we can expect the company to launch the iPhone 9, aka iPhone SE 2 soon in the US.
According to an image sent to 9to5Mac by a tipster at Best Buy, a case for a new 4.7-inch 2020 iPhone came up which supposedly possesses the specifications of the upcoming rumoured iPhone, which will probably be called either iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2. The image shows an Urban Armor Gear case, which is not the only brand sent out to the retailers, as per the report.

The retailers have also been asked not to add these cases to their inventory till April 5, i.e. Sunday. After analysing these leaks, 9to5Mac reveals that the company might unveil the iPhone 9 aka iPhone SE 2 on April 5. We can also expect the company to announce the phone this week and make it available in the next week.
The launch of the next iPhone is definitely soon as we have also seen Front Page Tech’s Jon Prosser tweeting information about Apple’s plans for an April release for the iPhone 9. The tweet claims that the iPhone 9 launch event will be held on April 15, and shipments will begin on April 22 with Apple about to send out invites for the same.
The iPhone 9 will be the company’s strategic entry into the mid-range segment. It will retain its design from the iPhone 8 and bring a boosted internal spec-sheet including an A13 processor. It may be powered by Apple’s latest A13 chip, the same we have seen on the iPhone 11, clubbed with 3GB of RAM.
