Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Design And Comfort
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 features two wing-shaped earbuds with a minimalistic Sennheiser logo on them. I have the Black Copper colour, which has a brown finish and looks unique. You can also opt for the Black Graphite or White Silver for a more minimalistic or flashy look.
The earbuds have a snug fit, although you need to twist them to fit them comfortably. After wearing them, they provide a tight fit and seal your ear canal. The build quality is good enough that these earbuds do not look cheap and are comfortable, even during long music sessions.
There is also an option to check the fit in the Sennheiser Smart Control app, where you can test whether the ear tips have a good seal in your ears. This can be a great feature to test whether you are wearing them properly, as my friend had trouble fitting them in.

The earbuds weigh only 5.3 grams, and I got a good fit for the default pair of ear tips. My favourite part about the build is the case of the earbuds, which have a unique fabric finish that gives them a distinct look and makes them feel premium to hold in hand.

Coming to ports and placements, the case features an LED light and a USB-C port in the middle. There is a Sennheiser logo on the top of the case, apart from a Sennheiser branding inside the lid of the case. At the bottom, you get some regulatory text.
However, I am concerned about the long-term durability of the fabric finish, as it could get dirty due to dust accumulation. Another thing worth mentioning is that the magnets inside the case aren’t strong enough. The case fell from my table a few times, and the earbuds inside separated and detached from the case.
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Audio Quality
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4’s primary focus is audio quality. Its 7mm drivers deliver a balanced sound experience that you can further tweak. You get an accurate representation of audio with great bass and details. Furthermore, the vocals and mids sound natural, with clear instrument separation.

The app also offers many different audio presets and a dedicated EQ to fine-tune the earbuds to your liking. Furthermore, you can choose from various audio codecs, such as Standard, Low Latency (For Gaming), High Resolution-aptX Adaptive (24 bit/96KHz), and Lossless (16bit/44.1KHz) aptX Lossless. While the Lossless audio mode worked fine with my Realme GT Neo 3T, I faced some audio drops on my Xiaomi Pad 5, which was strange.
I enjoyed listening to Paint It, Black by The Rolling Stones, where there was a clear distinction between the vocals and the drums and guitar played in the background. Similarly, when listening to Temperature by Sean Paul, the mids and highs were accurately represented.

I also experienced this when listening to Tenacious D’s version of Hit Me Baby One More Time (From Kung Fu Panda 4). As someone who loves listening to pop and Spanish songs, I was really mesmerized by the audio quality of the Momentum 4.
When listening to Aabaad Barbaad by Arijit Singh, the vocals are warm, and the bass is good, resulting in a great audio experience. The Smart Control app offers many audio presets, such as Rock, Pop, Dance, Hip Hop, classical, Movie, and Jazz.

I set it to my Pop during my usage. Furthermore, Bass Boost and Podcast options are available in each preset to finetune the audio quality according to your preferences. Regarding call quality, you get a six-microphone setup that makes your voice sound crystal clear. I used the earbuds during one of the office meetings, and my colleagues could hear my voice correctly.
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Battery And Charging
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 True Wireless has an 820mAh battery in the battery case and 75mAh batteries in the left and right earbuds. Although it is less than the 850mAh battery found in its predecessor, the Momentum 3, Sennheiser claims the buds can last up to 30 hours on a single charge with the case.

During my test, I found that it can easily last around 7 hours with noise cancelling at moderate volume. Furthermore, an 8-minute charge can provide up to an hour of playback time.
I could easily get through the week by binge-watching The Sopranos and watching 4 to 5 hours of YouTube daily. The charging case provides 30 hours of playback time, which is adequate for most users, even if you head out on a long road trip or adventure
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 Features And Connectivity
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 True Wireless has an upgraded Qualcomm S5 Sound processor and Snapdragon Sound technology support. Furthermore, the company claims it will allow lossless streaming with better stability and extended Bluetooth range.
In addition, you get Bluetooth 5.4, Bluetooth LE, and Auracast support, which help you broadcast audio from laptops, smartphones, TVs, and more. You also get 50 dB of noise cancellation, which removes the noise from your surroundings and even works in windy environments.

Furthermore, you can adjust the level in the Adaptive Noise Cancellation option: Off, Anti Wind, and On. You can toggle the transparency mode on public transport, such as a Metro or bus, to listen to important announcements. This mode can also be handy if someone is talking to you and can select the level of transparency in the app.
There is also support for many audio codecs, including SBC, AAC, AptX, and LC3, with higher options that consume more battery. Gamers also get a low latency mode for a smooth, lag-free gaming experience.
The pairing process is pretty seamless if you pair the earbuds for the first time. However, if you wish to reset the earbuds and pair them with another smartphone, the hard reset process is a mess.
Multi-device connectivity lets you pair the earbuds with up to 2 devices simultaneously and a total of eight devices, each in a pair of two. Customizable touch controls are also available, such as a single tap to play/pause, double tap to change tracks, triple tap to toggle noise cancellation, and hold to control the volume levels.

In addition, you get Battery Eco mode, which can extend your battery life by turning off high-quality audio codecs like aptX.There is also a Battery Protection Mode, which can prolong the battery life with slower charging and prevent the earbuds from charging to 100 per cent, which is great.
Furthermore, there is a Smart Pause feature, which, as the name suggests, can play/pause the media as soon as you remove the earbuds from your ear. You also get the option to auto-accept calls, which automatically picks up the call as soon as you take the earbuds out of the charging case.

Similarly, the Auto Power off option can turn off the earbuds after a specified time. Last but not least is the Sound Zone feature, which allows you to set different EQ and audio profiles depending on your current location. For example, you can set a noise-cancelling profile for your office and a transparency mode for the gym so you can pay attention to your gym instructor. I found most of the features useful, not a mere gimmick, during my review of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4.
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 is the perfect audio companion for those looking for a premium pair of featured-packed earphones without breaking the bank. They offer exceptional audio quality with various codec support, excellent noise cancellation, and long-lasting battery life.
The Momentum 4 True Wireless’s pricing is the same as its predecessor, which makes it easy to recommend. It also undercuts its competitors, like the Sony WF-1000XM5 and the Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Generation, by at least Rs.5,000, helping you save significantly.
However, if the price feels too high, you can opt for something cheaper like the Nothing Ear (3), Motorola Buds+, or the Apple AirPods 3rd Generation, which offers the most features at a lower price.
