Vivo has launched yet another smartphone under its Y-series – the Vivo Y53T. The smartphone was recently launched in China as a successor to the Vivo Y52t. It features a 6.51-inch HD Plus display and a Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC. Additionally, the handset runs on Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean on top. This smartphone will be available for sale in China from January 9, 2023, at a starting price of CNY 999.

Price And Availability
The newly released handset is available in two RAM and storage options. For the 4GB + 128GB storage variant the handset costs CNY 999 (around Rs. 11,980 ). Whereas for the 6GB+128GB storage variant the starting price is CNY 1099. Moreover, the handset is available in two colour variants- Orange Fruit and Black Truffle. It runs on Android 13-based OriginOS Ocean skin out of the box and supports 5G SA/ NSA.
Vivo Y53t 5G: Specifications
Sources suggest that the Vivo Y53t 5G will likely have the same features as the Vivo Y35 which was introduced last month. However, the newly launched smartphone features a 6.51-inch HD Plus LCD display with a waterdrop notch design. Additionally, the smartphone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 7nm processor along with LPDDR4x RAM. The handset also supports UFS 2.2 storage and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
It features a dual rear camera unit, which includes a 13-megapixel wide camera sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera sensor. Moreover, it comes with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. It houses a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. Furthermore, the smartphone supports connectivity features such as dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and USB Type-C. Lastly, the handset also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
