Samsung Galaxy A02 launched globally with entry-level specifications. However, the all-new Galaxy A-series phone is slightly different from last year’s GalaxyA02. This 2021 model comes with the MediaTek MT6739 SoC as opposed to Snapdragon 450 SoC. Additionally, the global pricing of the model is still a mystery. However, it comes in Denim Black, Denim Blue, Denim Red, and Denim Gray colors.

Samsung Galaxy A02 Price, Availability
In Thailand, it is available at THB 2,999 (roughly Rs. 7,300), as per a promotional post on Twitter, for the base 2GB RAM + 32GB onboard storage variant. However, for the other storage options, pricing is still a mystery. The international availability of the Galaxy A02 has not yet been announced so far.

Samsung Galaxy A02 Specifications
It features a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display that bears 720 x 1,560p resolution. The handset runs a dated Android 10 out of the box.
The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739W chipset pairing with 2GB/ 3GB RAM, and 32GB/ 64GB storage. Additionally, there is also a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the storage (up to 1TB).

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy A02 rocks a dual-camera setup at the back comprising a 13MP primary sensor (f/1.9) and a 2MP macro sensor (f/2.4) with LED flash. The front camera of the phone gets a 5MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 7.75W fast charging support. Connectivity options for the phone include 4G LTE connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS + Glonass, and a Micro-USB port. Samsung Galaxy A02 has sensors such as an accelerometer, grip sensor, and a virtual proximity sensor.
