A new operating system dubbed realityOS is to operate on an augmented reality (or mixed reality) headset that Apple is developing. Of course, the “RealityOS” operating system was in the news before. Still, a trademark application for the term is submitting for the first time, suggesting that will release Apple’s AR Headset soon. The headgear will likely be available by the end of the year, but it won’t be on sale in large quantities until the following year.
Realityo Systems LLC submitted the trademark application in the US state of Delaware, not Apple, according to a trademark filing seen by Parker Ortolani. However, many large corporations often file trademark applications using fictitious business names to keep their identities hidden until the dust settles.
