After a slow end of the decade, Motorola decided to refresh the list of smartphones for the mid-range domain under its G-series. The recent launch of Moto G30, G60, and G60s has made the company realise the mid-range market’s potential. Motorola, walking in the footsteps of Samsung, will be working towards the mid-range market. Previously leaked Moto G50 5G, codenamed ‘Saipan’, is on the way to launch.

A recent leak, tipped the market about the Moto G50 5G specifications, alongside a few renders of the device. The 5G device is about to feature in the mid-range smartphone market.
Moto G50 5G Specifications (Expected)
Moto G50 5G leaks confirm an LCD display of 6.5-inch. It will be an HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The device would be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chip alongside a RAM of up to 4 GB.

With a triple camera setup, Moto G50 5G will feature a primary camera of 48 MP. The other two camera details are still under wraps but might include an ultrawide camera and a depth sensor. As for the secondary camera, the device has a 13 MP water drop style camera which comes out as a surprise in this budget smartphone market. Packed with a 4700 mAh battery, Moto G50 5G specs also mention a USB-C port. It also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device also hosts a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

While the European Moto G50 5G might have the same name but has different specifications. The device codenamed ‘Ibiza’ packs a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is accompanied by a 48MP triple camera setup on the rear. The significant difference is the Snapdragon 480 5G SoC. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of Internal Storage. It also packs a battery of 5,000 mAh with 15W fast charging support.
