Huawei, the smartphone brand, launched its flagship P50 series of smartphones earlier this year in China. Now it is gearing up to launch its Huawei P50 and P50 Pro globally by next year. The company also validated the same during the announcement of Huawei’s Nova 9.
Though Huawei didn’t confirm any specific launch date for the P50 series, an executive stated that the company will bring the P50 series to consumers overseas early next year. It means both the phones could launch in European markets and some other markets as well.

Huawei P50 series specifications
The Huawei P50 highlights a 6.5-inch curved OLED display with a 90hz refresh rate. It comprises a screen resolution of 1224 x 2700 pixels, with a pixel density of 458ppi. The smartphone is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset with a battery of 4100mah. The device also carries fast-charging up to 66W.
On the backside, the smartphone has a triple rear camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel primary PDAF sensor, adjacent with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The device consists of Leica optics and also has dual-LED flash. For selfies, the front camera comes with a 13-megapixel camera sensor.

Huawei P50 Pro features a 6.6-inch curved OLED display with a screen resolution of 2700 x 1228 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate with 300Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 888 chipset similar to Huawei P50. There’s also another variant of the phone which is powered by the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 9000 processor. The phone comes with a 4,360mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
The Huawei P50 Pro consists of two primary cameras a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS and a 40-megapixel sensor. Additionally, there is a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor, along with a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS. For selfies, the phone has a 13-megapixel camera with support for autofocus and AIS anti-shake.
