  • Krafton, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) creator, permanently ban gamers from cheating in the popular game. At the start of 2022, the development team banned over 70,000 gamers in less than a week and has since banned about 50,000 players for cheating. Krafton is committed to ensuring a fair gaming experience in BGMI by detecting and banning cheaters. Due to the prevalence of cheating in online multiplayer games such as BGMI, Krafton is developing efficient anti-cheat measures. The company will maintain a zero-tolerance policy for cheating in the game.

Krafton revealed that between January 10th and January 16th, it permanently banned 2022, 48,847 gamer accounts. The developer has said that it would “strive to implement strong sanctions with the ultimate goal of eliminating the use of illegal programmes to provide you with a pleasant gaming environment.”

Additionally, the developer gave a list of permanently banned accounts. Krafton takes the problem of cheating in BGMI very seriously and has already started issuing hardware bans to the one who cheats. Because banned users may quickly create a new account to play BGMI, device bans effectively disable cheaters’ mobile devices.

In addition, PC games such as Valorant have previously introduced hardware restrictions via the Vanguard anti-cheat programme. With permanent device prohibitions in place, cheating in BGMI should presumably decrease in the coming months.

In other BGMI news, the game just got a new update that includes a crossover with Spider-Man: No Way Home. The crossover adds Spider-Man characteristics to the Erangel and Livik maps of BGMI. Additionally, players may fire webs and take on a monster with Spider-Man. Further, players can get access to new supply stores on Erangel and Livik, where they may buy goods using in-game cash discovered on the map.
