Apple Working On New Privacy Feature For iOS 14

Apple is working on a feature that will further enhance the privacy of iOS users, The feature is in the works for a long time and will be called “App tracking transparency”. The upcoming iOS 14 is expected to come with ATT.

According to Apple, the new iOS 14 update will be launched in early spring. The feature lets users take control over the data an app shares with advertisers. Moreover, if you deny an application to share data. that app will have to comply and honor the user request. If an application fails to comply with these new rules, it might get removed from Apple’s App Store.

This will let people take control of the advertising data that is shared with other advertisers. The idea was introduced by Apple last year at their Developer Conference. Major advertising companies like Google are already making changes in their policy to comply with the new data policies.

Both Google and Facebook have said that Apple’s new app tracking transparency feature will severely target advertising revenue, with Facebook strongly protesting against the same.
