Nitish Chopra, a 34-year-old Yamuna Nagar, Haryana resident, was uneasy, had limited energy, and was experiencing chest pain.

When he informed his wife, Neha, of his health problems, she immediately requested that he put on the Watch 6 that he had given her last year. He then used the Watch to take an ECG, and the results were not particularly accurate. The ECG on the watch showed anomalies, so they went to a neighbouring hospital right away. After undergoing an angiography at the hospital, Neha and Nitesh learned that his arteries were 99.9 per cent blocked.
“The doctor put a stent in his heart and stated we were lucky nothing went wrong,” Neha told Gadgets Now.

Apple Watch’s ECG: How Did It Help
Nitesh was recently released from the hospital and is doing well. Apple Watch’s capacity to alert her husband about something so important that Neha wrote an email to Apple CEO Tim Cook telling him how the Watch saved his life. “We only got to the hospital because of the technology you supplied, and he is now great and healthy,” she stated in her email. She also expressed gratitude for the Apple Watch’s role in saving her husband’s life.
Because Nitesh is just in his thirties, Neha told the publication that if it weren’t for the SmartWatch, they would never have recognized he had blocked arteries. “We would never have suspected my husband had blocked arteries if it hadn’t been for the SmartWatch,” she says, “because he’s in his early 30s.” Neha was pleased and indicated her wish to buy an Apple Watch.
