LG K42 Specifications
The LG K42 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole design. When it comes to the processor, the LG K42 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of RAM, as mentioned before. Furthermore, the internal storage is also expandable via a microSD slot. The smartphone runs on Android 10 with the LG UX on top.
As mentioned earlier, the smartphone comes in two color options namely Green and Grey. Moreover, the LG K42 has a good audio setup as well. The handset features a 3D Sound Engine audio setup which the company claims has listened to 17 million audio samples to come up with the best sound. Also, the device comes with a 3.5mm audio jack as well alongside Bluetooth 5.0.
On the camera front, the LG K42 comes with a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel super-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor along with a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Additionally, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the front.
We have mentioned earlier how the phone has a rugged design. All thank to the MIL-STD-810G certification which indicates that the smarphone can withstand extreme environmental conditions. Furthermore, the back panel has interesting things going on as well. It comes with a wave design along with an anti-scratch UV coating.

Additionally, the smartphone packs a 4000mAh battery alongside a dedicated Google Assistant button as well. The handset also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
From the looks of it, the LG K42 does seem like a very promising mid-ranger. Sadly, the price and availability details of the smartphone have not been revealed yet. We do hope to hear soon from the company on this front.
