OnePlus does this thing with its flagship devices where is denotes them with the letter “T”. This letter mostly denotes the annual flagships by the company. This can be seen in the OnePlus 8T, which was launched as an upgrade to the OnePlus 8 last month. Moreover, the OnePlus 7T was launched as a mid-year refresher upgrade to the OnePlus 7 last year. However, this time, OnePlus might have different plans with the 9 series of devices.

Tipster TechDroider took to Twitter to reveal that there was no third OnePlus device. We will most likely see a vanilla OnePlus 9 launching alongside the 9 Pro. Besides, these smartphones are expected to launch in the middle of March next year, going by recent leaks.

Previously, a post on Weibo had stated that there will be three OnePlus 9 series devices. However, the new leak completely refutes these claims. Moreover, one of the third rumored devices was expected to launch as the OnePlus 9 Ultra or 9T. However, that will most likely not happen going by the recent leak.

The tipster has revealed that the OnePlus 9 will come with model numbers LE2110, LE2117, and LE2119. These model numbers refer to the three different variants for the vanilla version. On the other hand, the Pro version will come with model numbers LE2120 and LE2127. This suggests that the Pro version will come in two variants.
OnePlus 9 Series Expected Specifications
Going by the rumors, the OnePlus 9 series might come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC. Additionally, this series of smartphones could also feature a fast refresh rate of 144Hz. Moreover, the upcoming smartphones could come with an improved wired and wireless charging support.
