The company’s website lists the new subscription cost of Premium services. It affects both the recurring and prepaid subscriptions. The price hike in YouTube Premium is explained as follows:
- Recurring Individual Plan: This is a single user plan now costs Rs 149 per month, as compared to Rs 129 per month. The Quarterly payment plan now costs Rs 459 and the Annual payment plan costs Rs 1490
- Family Plan: This plan gives YouTube Premium access to five users. This plan now costs Rs 299 per month, as compared to Rs 189 per month
- Student Plan: This plan receives the minimum price hike, i.e. Rs 89 per month, as compared to Rs 79 per month
