A new Y-series smartphone from Vivo is launched in Hong Kong. The Vivo Y16, the brand’s new 4G smartphone, has been unveiled by the firm. Moreover, the Y16’s appearance is quite similar to that of the newly unveiled Vivo Y35 2022. It has a rectangular camera module on the rear and a flat frame with rounded edges. Furthermore, the phone features two sizable cutouts where the dual cameras are located.
Additionally, there are two colour choices for the phone. In the upcoming days, Vivo may introduce the Y16 in India and other regions.

Specifications of Vivo Y16
The Y16 4G is a new low-cost smartphone from Vivo. Only one 4GB RAM variant and 128GB of internal storage are available for the Y16. However, the company has revealed the phone’s details and functions.
There are two colour options for the Y16: Drizzling Gold and Stellar Black. Its dimensions are 163.95×75.55×8.19mm. In addition, the phone’s back and frame are made of polycarbonate. It has a 183-gram weight.

The phone was introduced by Vivo featuring a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The entry-level processor is combined with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. Additionally, it offers 1GB of extra virtual RAM and supports Extended RAM 2.0. The Y16 has a specific slot for adding storage using a microSD card. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery inside it. Through a USB Type-C connector, 10W charging is supported.
Funtouch OS 12 on the Android 12 platform is pre-installed on the Y16 4G. Moreover, it sports a water-drop notch on top of its 6.51-inch HD+ display for the 5-megapixel front camera. The display’s chin bezel is fairly thick.
