Vivo V21 5G launched as the company’s latest entrant in India on Thursday, April 29. It comes as the latest affordable 5G-capable handset in the country. However, it launched in the Malaysian market alongside V21e and V21’s 4G and 5G variants. Moreover, it comes as the successor to the Vivo V20 that debuted in the country in October last year. The Indian variant features 5G connectivity and is the most affordable 5G smartphone from the brand in the Indian market.

Price, Availability
Vivo V21 5G price in India is Rs 29,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. Whereas, the 8GB + 256GB option costs Rs 32,990. Moreover, it will go on sale in India from May 6th at 12pm IST, while pre-orders commence on April 29th.

It will be available in two color options, namely Sunset Dazzle and Dusk Blue. It is available to purchase exclusively via Flipkart in India. The e-commerce website is offering a 5% discount on the Vivo V21 5G if you make the payment using the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card.
Vivo V21 5G Specifications
It sports a 6.44-inch display with AMOLED technology. It has a Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Unlike most smartphones nowadays that come with a punch-hole on their screen, the display of the V21 5G has a U-shaped notch.

5G connectivity on the Vivo V21 5G is enabled by the MediaTek 800U SoC. It couples with 8GB of physical RAM (plus 3GB virtual RAM) and 128GB of storage. On the software side of things, you get Android 11 customized with Funtouch OS 11.1 UI.
Vivo V21 5G packs three rear camera modules, including a 64MP OIS primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Moreover, a waterdrop-style notch houses the smartphone’s 44MP selfie camera, which also happens to ship with OIS (optical image stabilization.

Its 4,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 33W. Given that 4,500mAh units are the norm today, the Vivo V21’s battery seems a little lackluster.
